A
friend of mine asked me to write an article on this subject and
I think my answer here will surprise all my readers. The reason
I say this is that it all depends on the lens you are answering
this question from.
For
example, if you answer this question from the lens of a worldly,
third dimensional person who is an atheist, they would say that
they are their physical bodies. Strangely enough many fundamentalist
Christians would say the same thing. They think that when a person
dies, it is oblivion unless they are one of the chosen few who
are resurrected by Christ. They see no distinction between the
soul and the physical body.
Now
if you saw life through the lens of a philosopher you might say,
"I think therefore I Am." Philosophers being more identified
with the mind to the neglect of Spirit and the emotional and physical
body.
Now
if you were into Humanistic psychology, the answer would be "I
feel therefore I Am." All Humanistic Psychology thinks about
is feelings. Feelings are GOD to them. As long as you are expressing
your feelings and emotions all is well.
If
you are a Freudian psychologist, the answer to this question is
you are the combination of your ego, id, and superego.
If
you ask a Transactional psychologist, the answer to this question
is, you are the combination of your adult, parent, and child.
If
you ask a Behavioristic psychologist, the answer to this question
is, you are the product of all your positive and negative reinforcement
of your environment.
If
you ask a Cognitive psychologist this question, he would say,
you are what you think because your thoughts cause your reality.
If
you asked a Family Systems therapist this question, they would
say you are a product of the Family System you grew up in.
Now
if you look at life through the lens of Psychology or a Psychologist
they would answer this question you are the consciousness or conscious
mind that chooses which thoughts to think, which feelings to feel
and how to deal with the physical body.
As
with all these lenses, there is a sliver of truth to them all.
Now if you are a first, second or third degree disciple or initiate
on the Path of Initiation the answer to this question would be
you are the soul or Higher Self. This could also be described
as the Oversoul or Superconsicous Mind.
Now
if you answer this question from the lens of a fourth, fifth,
sixth and seventh degree initiate on the Path of Initiation, then
the answer to this question would be, you are the Monad and/or
Mighty I Am Presence.
If
you answer this question from the standpoint of a completed Seventh
degree initiate, the answer would be, you are an Ascended Master.
If you answer this question from the perspective of an initiate
who has completed their seven levels of initiation and integrated
these initiations fully into their mental, emotional and physical
bodies, then the answer to this question would be, they are an
"Integrated Ascended Master."
If
you ask this question of some of the well known Ascended Masters
they might answer by saying they are Solar or Galactic Ascended
Masters rather than Planetary Ascended Masters.
If
you ask this of Sai Baba he would say, "I am a Universal Ascended
Master."
Now
if you ask this question to a Buddhist, they would say, "I am
the Buddha."
If
you ask this question to a Christian, they might say, "I am a
Son or Daughter of GOD."
If
you asked this question of a Hindu, they would say, I am the Atma.
If
you ask this question of a person in a Western Mystery School,
they might say, "I am the Eternal Self." In other Western Mystery
schools, the answer might be "I am an incarnated soul." In other
Western Traditions the answer might be "I am Spirit."
In
the Islamic religion they might answer that they are embodiments
of Allah.
In
the Kabbalah, a Kabbalist might answer "embodiments of YHWH!"
Now
if you asked this question of Melchizedek, the Universal Logos
he might respond that he is a Cosmic Ascended Master rather than
a Planetary Ascended Master. He also might say he is the Cosmic
Monad not a Planetary Monad. He might also say he is the "Cosmic
Eternal Self."
If
you ask this question of someone on the Path of Devotion they
might respond by saying, "I am love!"
If
you ask this question of someone of a first ray initiate they
might say, "I am the Power of GOD!" If you ask this of a second
ray initiate, they might say, "I am the Wisdom of GOD."
If
you ask this of an initiate on the Path of Ascension they might
say, "I am the balanced integration of the Love/Wisdom and Power
of GOD!"
If
you ask this of an astrologer, they might say they are the embodiment
of their horoscope at the time of incarnation. If you ask this
of a numerologist, they might give you the numbers in their numerology
configuration of their name.
If
you ask this question of someone who doesn't believe in GOD, they
might say they are their personality.
If
you asked a Biblical Prophet the answer might be, "I Am GOD!"
So,
my beloved readers, as you can see this is not the easiest question
to answer. It depends on your perspective and your lens. So I
ask you what is the truth? I would say the truth depends on your
level of Spiritual Development and the lens you wish to look through.
Certainly we each are incarnating souls. We also each are the
"I" or chooser that creates our reality by the choices we make
in regard to every thought, feeling, impulse, desire and piece
of energy that comes to us from within or without.
It
is also true however, that we are Spirit, the Monad, the Mighty
I Am Presence even if we have not realized it yet, in our path
of initiation and Ascension. In the ultimate sense the answer
is, we are God! The important distinction here is, are we talking
about the ultimate ideal of what we are or what we have actually
realized.
There
are some who have realized their Higher Self and some who have
not. There are some who have realized their Mighty I am Presence
and some who have not. There is no one on Earth including Sai
Baba who has realized the Eternal Self in the highest Cosmic sense.
The most advanced realization of GOD on this Planet is Sai Baba
who has done it up to the Universal level. He has not done it
to the Multiuniversal level and to the Cosmic level yet. He is
the closest on Earth.
However,
it would not be untruthful to answer the question "Who Am I?"
with the answer, "I am God or I am the Eternal Self" because in
the ultimate reality this is the truth. It is also important however
to not claim realization of something you have not truly achieved
or realized. Many, many people on Earth claim to have realized
GOD in the ultimate sense. This is complete illusion and a manifestation
of the negative ego and misunderstanding. They may have realized
GOD on a Planetary level however, not on a Solar, Galactic, Universal,
Multiuniversal and Cosmic level.
The
truth is, it is impossible to fully realize GOD on Earth. One
can realize their Higher Self, Monad, Mighty I Am Presence, become
a full-fledged Ascended Master and even begin realizing Solar
and Galactic Ascension. No one will go beyond this level, except
in the decent of an Avatar. The only true Avatar on this Planet
is Sai Baba.
The
meaning of an Avatar means you are God Realized at birth, and
need no Spiritual training at all. There are some who claim to
be Avatars, however, this is a misunderstanding of the term and
in some cases a massive ego trip.
So
my beloved readers, the answer to this eternal question lies in
if you are looking through the lens of what you have realized
or what the ultimate truth of your identity is. From another lens
or perspective it would also be truthful to say that you are what
you have realized and you are the Ultimate Goal you seek as well.
So, in truth, all of the answers to this question are true at
certain moments. Maybe the best answer is that you are a synthesis
of all of these in their proper perspective, as GOD would have
it be!
In
final conclusion I would say the only answer that is not true
is that "we are GOD," with all capital letters. As I have already
stated, "we are God" with only the "G" capitalized, but we are
not GOD with all capital letters. This is because GOD with all
capital letters is the androgynous Being who created us. The reason
that "we are not GOD" with all capital letters is because GOD
created us; we did not create GOD. So a more apt answer is, we
are Sons and Daughters of GOD.
Another
term I heard from the process of Realization point of view is
that we are "Apprentice Gods." Once we realize Planetary Godhood,
then we can begin working on Solar Godhood. When that is complete,
we can evolve to Galactic, Universal, Multiuniversal and Cosmic
Godhood. Even when Cosmic Ascension is achieved at the 352nd level
of Divinity, evolution still continues for there is always a greater
level of GOD to realize and refine. This my beloved readers, is
because of the "unfathomableness of GOD!" To claim that one has
fully realized GOD as we can see is faulty thinking at best, especially
given that one has not even done it once one has realized all
352 levels of initiation at the 352nd level of Divinity.
This
understanding of the unfathomableness of GOD, I feel brings forth
a healthy humbleness and humility my beloved readers that is good
for us all. On that note, I think its time to close this chapter
which I hope has enlarged your "Full Spectrum Prism Consciousness"
of who you really are!
